Qualification for BPSC Recruitment 2023–

• Master’s degree in Modern Indian History from a recognized University with at least second class or a pass in its equivalent examination. Passing in the equivalent examination means any other available degree equivalent to a Master’s degree in Modern Indian History.
• Ph.D. on any subject related to Modern Indian History. D. degree.
• Adequate knowledge of archival science and at least 10 years of experience in research and managerial work in an archival office/research institute/teaching of modern history in a recognized college.
• Experience in doing research work and guiding researchers.
• Study of old unpublished records and experience of their publication.
