Qualification for HPSC Recruitment 2023–

(i) Graduate from a recognized University.

(ii) Preference will be given to candidates holding degrees in Criminology.

(iii) Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric Standard or Higher Standard.

(iv) (a) Has Minimum Height 5’7″ (170cm) (5’5″ in case of Dogras and Gorkhas 165cm) (b) Chest (i) 33″ unexpanded and (ii) 34 1⁄2″ expanded.

(v) Provided that person fulfilling the above conditions who are also a sportsman shall be given preference.

(vi) The candidates selected for appointment will have to undergo prescribed training for a period of 30 months or in the manner as decided by the Govt. at the time of appointment.
