All the 12 newly appointed members of Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission took charge in Lucknow on Friday. Principal Secretary Higher Education MP Aggarwal held a meeting with all the members and directed to start the process for the pending recruitments. Along with this, a letter has also been issued for posting on deputation to other posts including Secretary of the Commission and Controller of Examinations. It is believed that with the appointment of Chairman and administrative posts soon, the work of the Commission will gain momentum. The office of the commission has been set up in Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Ellenganj itself.

Along with the appointment of the members, their chambers were cleaned on Friday. All the newly appointed members Ram Suchit, Yogendra Nath Singh, Rajendra Pratap Singh, Vimal Kumar Vishwakarma, Kirti Gautam, Dr. Vinod Kumar Singh, Prof. Raj Narayan Shukla, Dr. Seema Shakya, Dr. Harendra Kumar Rai, Dr. Radhakrishna, Dr. Rohitash Singh and Dr. KC Verma will start sitting in their chambers from Monday or Tuesday. At present, numbering of files related to appointment and other matters in primary, secondary and higher education is being done.

Surendra took additional charge of Secretary
Additional Director of Education Secondary Surendra Tiwari took additional charge of Secretary Basic Education Council in the Directorate of Education on Friday. He said that following the instructions of the government, effective advocacy of the cases pending in the High Court and prompt resolution of the problems of teachers will be his priority. On assuming charge, the employees including former MLC Suresh Kumar Tripathi, officers RN Vishwakarma and Brajesh Mishra welcomed him. This post had become vacant after the posting of outgoing Secretary Pratap Singh Baghel as Acting Director of Basic Education.
