UPSC EXAM 2024: Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination application process is about to begin, this year’s UPSC preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on 26th May. Last year, more than 13 lakh candidates appeared for the UPSC exam. UPSC Civil Services Examination consists of three stages, Prelims, Mains and Interview. Candidates who are successful in these three stages are selected for posts like IAS, IPS, IRS, IFS on the basis of rank.
Indian Forest Service (IFS) Himanshu Tyagi has given some tips to the candidates who want to start preparing for UPSC. In which he has told what things the candidate should keep in mind before starting UPSC preparation.
1- Set your goal first
Himanshu Tyagi says that it is not right to prepare for UPSC as a hobby. To pass this examination it is more important to have a goal. So that we can prepare every day with full focus.
2- Keep distance from those things which can distract you
– When you have made up your mind that you will prepare for UPSC, then it is important that you keep distance from those things which can distract you. That is, those candidates who keep watching TV, web series, Instagram reels day and night and want to prepare for UPSC, then let us tell you, this is not possible. This exam demands adequate time for preparation.
3- Understand self love
Before preparing for the exam, it is important to know how much you love yourself and where you want to see yourself in the future. To progress in any field, it is important to give priority to self-love. Because if you do not keep yourself physically and mentally healthy, it will directly affect your exam preparation. Therefore, to prepare for the exam, promise yourself to take care of your health.
