Despite receiving the requisition for 148 posts for the Combined State Agricultural Service Examination, the uneasiness among the candidates is increasing due to non-release of advertisement by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. The Commission had mentioned this recruitment in the calendar released on January 12 but had also informed that the recruitment examination will be conducted on the reserved dates after getting approval from the government regarding the examination plan and syllabus.

Candidates for agriculture recruitment say that the Commission has received 148 applications for the posts of District Horticulture Officer Grade-2, Grade-1 Principal, Government Food Science Training Centre/Food Processing Officer Grade-2, Senior Technical Assistant etc. This recruitment examination is also being mentioned as proposed in the One Time Registration (OTR) notice, but till now the advertisement has not been issued. UPPSC had issued a separate advertisement for Agricultural Services for the first time on 29 December 2020. 73792 candidates had applied for 564 posts.

STF will investigate paper leak
A case was registered against the paper leak in the preliminary examination of RO-ARO Recruitment 2023 but till now it is not known who got the paper out and how. The exam centers were set up by cheating mafias or the paper was made viral in some other way. Civil Lines Police is preparing to get this high profile case investigated by STF. Police argue that STF is already investigating this case. Lok Sabha Commission Secretary Ashok Kumar had lodged an FIR in the Civil Lines police station against unknown accused in the paper leak case. Even before the case was registered in this case, the government had handed over the investigation to Lucknow STF. STF was given the responsibility to find out what is the truth in the matter. Meanwhile this case was registered. Civil Lines Police is currently investigating this incident. But the police officer wants to transfer the case to STF. Even before this, Varanasi STF had taken action in the paper leak case in the Commission. However, in this case, apart from the Civil Lines Police, the Crime Branch team is also busy in finding clues about the counterfeit mafia. This has become a challenge for the police. On one hand, RO-AKRO exam and on the other hand, constable recruitment exam, there were allegations of paper leakage in both and the exam was cancelled.
