In the last 11 years, daughters have got the biggest success in the UP PCS 2023 examination. This time, out of 251 candidates selected, 84 (33.46 percent) are daughters. Of these, 78 daughters are from Uttar Pradesh and the remaining six are from other states. Last year, 30 percent girls got success in PCS 2022, but the result of PCS 2023 announced on Tuesday will prove to be a milestone in terms of girl education and women empowerment. However, only eight girls have got success in 41 posts of Deputy Collector or SDM in PCS 2023. Shubhi Gupta, Nidhi Shukla, Shweta Singh, Anjani Yadav, Mudra Raheja, Sunishtha Singh, Harshita Deora, Pooja Gupta and Nidhi have been selected for the post of SDM.

Naib Tehsildar in first attempt, topper in second
Siddharth Gupta of Deoband Saharanpur has topped PCS 2023. This was his second attempt. Before this, Siddharth had become Naib Tehsildar in his first attempt. Siddharth is currently working on the post of Naib Tehsildar in Bijnor. After studying 10th and 12th from CBSE board, he obtained Physics Honors degree from Delhi University. His father Rajesh Gupta runs a grocery shop and mother Anjana Gupta is a housewife.
Prem Shankar Pandey of Prayagraj has got second position in the state. His father retired from the post of operator in roadways in 2009. After Prem Shankar Pandey did Intermediate, he was recruited as Air Force Sergeant in 2002. Meanwhile, the student studied BA and MA from Shahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. Resigned from the Air Force in 2020. In 2021, he was selected in Review Officer-Assistant Review Officer Recruitment. Got posted only a few months ago, currently he is working as Review Officer in the Secretariat located in Lucknow.
B.Tech student Satvik got success in his third attempt.
Prayagraj. Satvik Srivastava of Navipurwa Hardoi has secured third rank in PCS in his third attempt. Obtained B.Tech degree from Civil Branch from NIT, Jaipur. During this time, placement was done on a package of Rs 8 lakh but did not join. He came to Lucknow for preparation. After this, success was achieved in the third attempt. His father Jagdish Kumar Srivastava is working as a deed accountant in the registry office and mother Chitra Srivastava is a housewife.
Father was in ICU, became deputy collector after giving mains
Prayagraj. The success achieved by Manoj Kumar Bharti, who secured fifth rank in PCS 2023, is like a film story. When Manoj was giving the main examination of PCS 2023, his father was admitted in ICU in Lucknow. On one side they were giving Mains paper and on the other side father’s medical treatment. Ultimately, his father’s service yielded results in the form of SDM. Manoj, who became Deputy Collector in the fourth attempt, was selected for the post of District Employment Officer in PCS 2022 and is currently posted in Aligarh. Manoj’s father Rajkumar is the principal of Bharti Private College and mother Meena Kumari works as a supervisor in the health department.
Pawan Patel is taking training as Deputy SP
Pawan Patel of Chitrakoot has got sixth rank in PCS 2023. Deputy SP Pawan Patel, who is undergoing training at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Police Academy, got 40th rank in PCS 2022. Pawan, originally a resident of Dadri Mafi village of Chitrakoot, told that this was his fourth interview. Were preparing since 2018. He told that father Kedar Patel always taught him to move forward. He always inspired. Only hard work paves the way to success.
Shubhi Gupta of Meerut stood first in the women’s category.
Shubhi Gupta of Meerut has got seventh rank in PCS 2023. Shubhi has the first rank in the state in the girls category. He is currently working as GST Officer in Ghaziabad. On this achievement of Shubhi Gupta, resident of Thapar Nagar in Meerut, Councilor Sunita Prajapati reached home and congratulated the family on this achievement.
Deputy SP in the first attempt, SDM in the second
Prayagraj. Hemant Mishra of Buxar, Bihar, who secured ninth rank, has got success in PCS of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for the second consecutive year. Last year he got 47th rank and was selected for the post of Deputy SP. This year, he has been selected as Deputy Election Officer in PCS of Bihar Public Service Commission. Hemant is currently pursuing his PhD in Geography from Jamila Millia Islamia. His father Om Prakash Mishra is an officer in the education department of Bihar government and mother Namrata Mishra is a teacher in a private school.
Farmer’s son Madhav got success
Prayagraj. Madhav Upadhyay, working as Assistant Review Officer (ARO) in Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, has got tenth position in PCS 2023. Madhav, a resident of Kasganj, had given the PCS exam in Hindi medium. Madhav, who did B.Sc in 2017 and D.El.Ed in 2019 after completing 10th in 2012 and 12th in 2014 from Navodaya Vidyalaya, his father Hariom Upadhyay is a farmer and mother Asha Devi is a housewife. Earlier he was selected in ARO-2021.
