UPPSC RO ARO Exam Paper Leak: Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has constituted a committee to investigate the paper leak of Review Officer and Assistant Review Officer recruitment exam. Let us tell you that the preliminary examination for UP RO-ARO recruitment was held on 12 February 2024. After the question paper of the exam allegedly went viral on WhatsApp, the candidates also demonstrated demanding cancellation of the exam. But till now the Commission has not received any complaint in the matter.

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has issued a notice amid the news of paper leak of RO-ARO exam in which it has been said that in view of the seriousness of the matter, a committee has been formed to investigate. The Commission has said that if anyone has relevant proof/evidence regarding the question papers of this examination going viral, then a copy of the same can be sent by e-mail through an affidavit mentioning his/her name, full address, mobile number and Aadhaar number. Let us tell you that for a total of 411 posts of 334 ROs and 77 AROs, the examination was conducted on Sunday, February 12, 2024, at 2387 centers in 58 districts of the state. Out of 1076004 candidates registered for this examination, 64 percent appeared. It is being said that before the exam, the answers to the questions in the question paper had gone viral on WhatsApp.

Protest outside the Commission over cancellation of RO/ARO exams:
Competitive students had demonstrated outside the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission on Monday in protest against the leaking of RO/ARO papers. Raising slogans like ‘The paper is leaked, the government is absolutely weak’, the angry students burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister. The students demanded that the RO/ARO examination be canceled and conducted again. Allahabad University student leader Harendra Kumar claimed that the paper was going viral on WhatsApp before the exam began. The future of the students is constantly being played with. Warned the Commission that if the RO/ARO paper is not immediately canceled and a new date of examination is not set, then the state government should be ready to face protest from the students. Those who burnt the effigy included Shiva Kesarwani, Anand, Adarsh ​​Bhadauria, Saddam Ansari, Avnish Yadav, Ajay Raj, Vikash, Ashutosh Maurya etc.
