Amidst the uproar over paper leak in the preliminary examination of Uttar Pradesh Review Officer / Assistant Review Officer 2023, it will be challenging for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission to conduct the preliminary examination of Combined State / Senior Subordinate Service (PCS) 2024 on March 17. 5,74,538 candidates have applied for 220 posts of PCS 2020. Centers have been set up in 51 districts for its preliminary examination. Out of the 1.11 lakh candidates who had applied for the preliminary examination of RO/ARO held in 58 districts on 11th February, about 6.5 lakh had appeared.
