UP Police paper leak 2024: Youth also demonstrated in many districts on Tuesday, alleging that the paper of UP Police constable recruitment examination held on 17 and 18 February in Uttar Pradesh was leaked. In Pratapgarh, the youth reached the tehsil shouting slogans and submitted a memorandum to the SDM. Even after this, the youth continued raising slogans in the tehsil till the arrival of the CRO. People agreed on the assurance of CRO but said that if the exam is not cancelled, they will march on foot till Lucknow. Under the leadership of Shakti Ojha, a coaching director, the candidates of the police recruitment examination demonstrated in the entire city, holding placards in their hands and shouting slogans. The youth accused the police of leaking the constable recruitment exam papers and playing with the future of lakhs of candidates. He demanded cancellation of the examination, investigation of the matter and legal action and re-examination.

The youth who took out the rally while touring the city, reached the Roadways Bus Station premises. While addressing the meeting, the speakers said that the exam papers of UP police constable recruitment have been leaked on a large scale, even before the exam, people’s telegrams and WhatsApp groups had reached them, of which they have complete proof.

He alleged that the government is playing with the future of the youth. Even after the meeting, the youth again reached the Tehsil premises in a procession shouting slogans. When they started shouting slogans while protesting, SDM Bharatram, sitting in Samadhan, reached there, took a memorandum from the youth and assured them to send it to the DM. After the SDM left, the youth again started raising slogans and asked to call the CRO. When CRO Rakesh Kumar Gupta and ASP Sanjay Rai, who were redressing the complaints, arrived, the youth became angry demanding immediate cancellation of the examination. When both the officers explained to the people and assured to send the memorandum to the government through DM, people agreed.

In Gorakhpur also on Tuesday, candidates gathered and demonstrated near Pant Park in front of Gorakhpur University. Here the candidates from different districts alleged rigging in the examination and demanded its cancellation.
