UP Primary School Exam: Secretary Pratap Singh Baghel has released the revised schedule of the annual examination of the academic session 2023-2024 of the council/recognized schools of classes one to eight of the Basic Education Council. According to the revised exam, now this exam will start from March 16 instead of March 11 and will end on March 21. At the same time, the exam time of two hours has been increased to two and a half hours.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts from 9:15 am to 11:45 am and from 12:15 pm to 2:45 pm. Class 1 examination will be oral. In classes two and three, the examination will be written and oral. The weightage of written and oral examination will be kept 50-50 percent. The examination of classes four and five will also be written and oral, but the weightage of written and oral examination will be 70 and 30 percent.

The examination for classes six to eight will be written. The written annual examination will be of 50 marks, in which there will be multiple choice, very short answer, short answer and long answer questions. The duration of the oral examination will be decided by the headmaster. The answer sheets of class five annual examination will be evaluated by teachers of other schools at the cluster (Nyaya Panchayat) level. The Council Secretary has given instructions to get the answer sheets of class 8 evaluated by the teachers of other clusters at the development block level. Based on the exam results, report cards will be prepared and distributed to the students on March 31.
