Alleging that the UP Police recruitment exam paper was leaked, candidates staged a strong demonstration at Eco Garden on Friday. Thousands of candidates gathered at Eco Garden and demanded re-conduct of the written examination for police recruitment. The candidates raised slogans against the government. The candidates remained gathered in the Eco Garden till evening. During this time, a large number of police and PAC forces were also present in the Eco Garden. A delegation of five people leading the protesters was also made to hold talks with Police Recruitment Board officials. The written examination of police recruitment was conducted in four shifts on 17 and 18 February.

The UP Police Recruitment Board had given the candidates a chance to submit their representations with evidence and proof through e-mail till 6 pm on Friday. A seven-member delegation of candidates met recruitment board officials on Friday and submitted a memorandum. He claims that evidence of question paper leak has also been provided. According to the candidates, the board has assured to take action after investigation.

MLA Pallavi Patel reached the protest
In support of the candidates for police recruitment, Apna Dal (Kameravadi) leader and Sirathu MLA Pallavi Patel reached Eco Garden and supported the candidates. Addressing the candidates, he alleged that the paper was leaked in the police recruitment examination. He said that problem like paper leak is not a small matter in the state. This is a conspiracy of the people sitting in the government. A conspiracy is going on to destroy the present and future of the youth of the state. He said that the future of the youth of the state is being destroyed due to things like Peeper leak. He is worried about his future. He said that we all will have to face these exploiters together and fight together. She said that she is standing with the candidates from the streets to the House with full strength.

Talks held with the Recruitment Board: During this, the police sent five people leading the protest for talks with the Additional Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board. Swapnil Aggarwal, who was part of the delegation, said that during the talks, he handed over many evidences regarding the paper leak to the police officials. Told that the officials have assured investigation. The delegation included Ravi Tiwari, RS Pailwar, Alok Shukla, Maroof. All of them are online and offline coaching operators.
