Police have arrested 25 accused including solver in UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination. Many of these solvers had come to take the exam in place of others. A case has been registered against the solver and action has been taken, but the candidates who took the help of the solver are absconding. The police have intensified the search for these accused who wanted a government job through Jugaad. Police say that action is being taken against them also. If police records are to be believed, the airport police had arrested solver Amit from Bihar for taking the exam in place of someone else. He had come to take the exam in place of Rohit Yadav, resident of Malakkhurd. Rohit was not found. Similarly, Roopchandra of Malak Harhar had sent solver Abhimanyu Yadav from Bihar to take the exam in his place.

Abhimanyu was arrested by Shivakuti police, but Roopchandra was not caught. Similarly, in Mauaima, Surendra Kumar had sent solver Sanjeev from Mirzapur for the examination in his place. Phaphamau police had arrested Ram Kumar of Bihar for appearing in the exam in place of Sandeep, a resident of Soraon. Sandeep was not found. Whereas the Colonelganj police had arrested Solver Raman from Bihar, who had gone to appear for the examination in place of Mukesh Soni of Mauaima, from the centre. The search for Mukesh continues.

Earlier, Jhunsi police had arrested nine people including five solvers on charges of burglary in constable recruitment. Three counterfeit mafia are still absconding in this case and the crime branch is busy searching for them. Cantt Police has wanted two solvers from Nawabganj.

Youth also demonstrated in many districts on Tuesday, alleging paper leak. In Pratapgarh, the youth reached the tehsil shouting slogans and submitted a memorandum to the SDM. The youth accused the police of leaking the constable recruitment exam papers and playing with the future of lakhs of candidates. He demanded cancellation of the examination, investigation of the matter and legal action and re-examination.
