UP Police Constable Exam: The wait for the admit card of UP Police Constable Exam continues. But it is possible that the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board will first release the exam city and date of 48 lakh applicants as has been done in the recruitment of radio operators and workshop employees. It is expected that the exam city details may be released on February 11 or February 12 and the admit card may come three days earlier on February 13 or 14. To check exam city, date details and download admit card, candidates have to visit uppbpb.gov.in. According to the reports, it is being said that many sets of papers are being prepared for the UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination.

Know what was the cutoff of previous recruitments
In the 49568 constable recruitment in UP Police in the year 2019, the cutoff of general category was 185.34. The cutoff for OBC was 172.32, that of SC was 145.39 and that of ST category was 114.19. Earlier also the written examination was of 300 marks only. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had received applications from 19,38,643 candidates for recruitment to 49568 posts of police and PAC constables. Considering the total number of vacancies among the candidates found successful in the written examination, on the basis of merit, 2.5 times more i.e. 1,23,921 candidates were called for physical test and DV.

If we talk about the recruitment of 41 thousand UP Police constables in 2018, then the cutoff marks for general category among men were 225.03, OBC was 216.74, SC was 187.99 and ST was 153.31. The written examination was of 300 marks only.

This time’s exam pattern
The written examination for UP Police 60 thousand constable recruitment will be of 300 marks. There were questions on general knowledge, general Hindi, numerical and mental ability, mental aptitude, IQ and logical ability. There will be total 150 questions. There will also be negative marking on wrong answers. 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the written examination. There will be no interview in this recruitment. No waiting list will be prepared.
