UPPRPB Constable Exam 2024: Hundreds of people have now been arrested in the UP Police constable recruitment exam paper leak case. STF Meerut Unit has arrested 6 more accused from Meerut who leaked the UP Police Recruitment Exam paper. The question paper to be held in the second shift on 18th February has been recovered from them. Four accused are still absconding and their search is on. During interrogation it was revealed that the paper was leaked from Haryana. STF has so far arrested a total of 11 accused in the paper leak case.

STF Meerut Unit arrested these six accused from Kankarkheda area on Wednesday. The accused have been identified as Deepak resident of Kankarkheda, Bittu resident of Sardhana, Praveen resident of Kankarkheda, Rohit resident of TP Nagar, Naveen resident of Shobhapur and Sahil resident of Kankarkheda. The paper which was to be held on 18th February had arrived on the WhatsApp of the accused on 17th February itself. The accused revealed that a youth from Haryana had given the paper. After this, these people gave these papers to the candidates for Rs 8 to 10 lakh. Out of the six arrested accused, two Deepak and Sahil are candidates and had given the examination from this paper. Those who got the paper first have been identified as Pravesh, Gulzar, Asif and Gaurav. These four accused are absconding. A case has been registered by the STF Inspector against the arrested accused in Kankarkheda police station.

The paper was leaked from Haryana
STF revealed that the UP Police Recruitment Exam paper was issued from Haryana itself. Haryana’s connection has come to light with all the accused who have been arrested so far. The paper was sent to these people on WhatsApp and the amount was taken in cash. STF team is camping in Haryana.

The paper of UP Police Recruitment Exam to be held on 18th February 2024 was leaked on 17th February itself. During interrogation, it was revealed that on 17th, the paper was sent on WhatsApp from Haryana to Pravesh Pradhan resident Chandna Sardhana. After this, Pravesh gave the paper to Gulzar resident of Khadauli, Asif resident of Kalyanpur, Gulzar resident of Alamgirpur Rohta. The admission head also gave the paper to Rohit alias Lalit. From Rohit it reached Deepu alias Deepak and Bittu Singh.

These accused take the contract of getting the paper out
STF revealed that Deepak, Bittu, Pravesh Pradhan, Asif, Monu and Gulzar take the contract of getting papers out during recruitment examinations. Praveen, Rohit alias Lalit, Naveen Kumar, Sahil, Dabbu and Gaurav used to provide candidates. These people had collected Rs 8 to 10 lakh in the name of giving papers to the candidates.

These accused arrested:
1. Deep alias Deepak resident of Pathanpura, Meerut.
2. Bittu resident of Alipur, Sardhana.
3. Praveen resident of Nanglatashi, Kankarkheda, Meerut.
4. Rohit alias Lalit resident of Golabarh, TP Nagar Meerut.
5. Naveen Kumar resident of Shobhapur, Meerut.
6. Sahil Shobhapur Kankarkheda, Meerut.

These accused are still absconding

1. Pravesh Pradhan resident Chandana Sardhana.
2. Gulzar resident of Khadauli Kankarkheda.

3. Asif resident of Kalyanpur Rohta.
4. Gaurav resident of Alamgipur Rohta.

This was recovered:
Eight mobile phones, a question paper of the examination held on February 18 and its answer key have also been recovered from the accused. This answer key is of the second exam on 18th.

Bail application of accused of using solver in police exam canceled
Gonda District Judge Pramod Kumar Srivastava has canceled the bail application of Vijay Kumar, accused of cheating in the police recruitment examination and replacing him with a solver, due to lack of sufficient grounds. According to District Government Advocate Basant Shukla, a report was lodged against Vijay Kumar, resident of Ramlal Purva Emilia, police station Khargupur. According to this, on February 18, the police recruitment examination was going on in RP Adarsh ​​Inter College, Mankapur. In the first shift examination, accused Vijay Kumar was getting the examination done by solver Vikas Kumar of Madhubani Bihar by creating a code in the Aadhaar card. When the biometrics were done in case of suspicion, there was a mismatch. On this he was caught. The matter came to light during the investigation. After listening to the arguments of the prosecution and defense lawyers, the court has canceled the bail application of accused Vijay Kumar as there was no sufficient ground for bail.
