UP Police Constable Exam 2024: UP Police has got great success before the constable exam. Before the constable recruitment examination which is going to be held for more than 60 thousand posts in the state, 3 people of Solver gang have been arrested with cash worth Rs 9 lakh. Manjhanpur (Kaushambi), adjacent to Prayagraj, arrested three members of the gang who were involved in cheating in the police recruitment which is going to be held a day later. Police have recovered Rs 9 lakh and fake police ID, laptop and mobile from them along with a car. This gang also used to take contracts for passing the UP board exams by taking money.

SP Brijesh Srivastava said that cyber cell and SOG team were activated on the instructions of ADG and IG. The team of cyber cell in-charge Inspector Ganesh Prasad and SOG in-charge Siddharth Singh, on the information of the informer, caught three youths in a car at Osa intersection. During the search, eight lakh 84 thousand cash, fake police ID, five mobiles, two laptops, 18 admit cards of police recruitment, two fake documents, three signatures and checks were found. The accused gave their names as Ayush Pandey, resident of Bhamanpura police station Raniganj district Mau, Punit Singh resident of village Joginka police station Gopiganj Bhadohi, Naveen Singh resident of Harpur Mau. SP said that some more people are on the radar. It is being ascertained from where the criminals who extort money from people by luring them in police recruitment came from and with whose help.

Let us tell you that about 48 lakh candidates have applied for recruitment to more than 60 thousand posts of constable in UP Police in the application process which started from 46 December 2023. The government has also given relaxation of 3 years in the age limit for general category and other category candidates due to which candidates have applied on a large scale. For the first time, such a large number of applications have been received for constable recruitment.

UP Police Constable Recruitment Examination will be conducted in two shifts on 17 and 18 February 2024 in different districts across the state. The administration has completed all preparations for this.
