The last date for making corrections in the application form and depositing fees for UP Police 60 thousand constable recruitment has been extended. Now the deadline for correction of errors in the application, adjustment of fees and uploading of documents from DigiLocker has been extended by 02 days to 20 December 2024. Keep in mind that the last date of registration has not been extended. UP Police Recruitment Board said in the notice, ‘After the last date of application for Reserve Recruitment-23, 16 January 2024, the period for correction of application errors, fee adjustment and uploading of records from DigiLocker will be extended by 02 days to 17 and 18 January 2024. The DigiLocker window is for those who had uploaded scanned documents before integration of DigiLocker. Preference should be given to uploading the certificates available on DigiLocker through DigiLocker during application but it is not mandatory. The document uploaded by simple scanning will also be accepted, it will not be rejected.
What was the cutoff of UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 and 2019?
In the 49568 constable recruitment in UP Police in the year 2019, the cutoff of general category was 185.34. The cutoff for OBC was 172.32, that of SC was 145.39 and that of ST category was 114.19. Earlier also the written examination was of 300 marks only. Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board had received applications from 19,38,643 candidates for recruitment to 49568 posts of police and PAC constables. Considering the total number of vacancies among the candidates found successful in the written examination, on the basis of merit, 2.5 times more i.e. 1,23,921 candidates were called for physical test and DV.
If we talk about the recruitment of 41 thousand UP Police constables in 2018, then the cutoff marks for general category among men were 225.03, OBC was 216.74, SC was 187.99 and ST was 153.31. The written examination was of 300 marks only.
