UP Police Constable: Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has released the details of the examination to be held for recruitment to 60244 posts of constable (constable) in Civil Police. According to the information, this exam will be of two hours, in which a total of 150 questions will have to be solved. The exam will be of total 300 marks, with each question carrying two marks. There will be negative marking in the exam, in which 0.5 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The examination will be held on 17th and 18th February at 2377 centers in all 75 districts of the state. UP Police Constable Exam Admit Card will be released soon.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has given the above information while publishing the process of written examination. It is told that to answer, the circle on the OMR sheet will have to be filled with black or blue ball point pen. The examination will be based on four subjects. This includes General Knowledge, General Hindi, Numerical and Mental Ability test and Mental Aptitude, IQ and Logical Ability subjects. The written examination will be of objective nature, with four options for each question. For every wrong answer or filling more than one option (circle) in answer to any one question, that answer will be considered wrong. It also says that do not try to erase or refill any circle. The board has said that the question papers of each shift will be different.

More than 48 lakh candidates are likely to appear in the examination. 12,04,360 candidates will appear for the examination in each shift. There will be male and female candidates in equal proportion in each shift. For security arrangements, apart from every district, two control rooms have been created in the headquarters of the Recruitment Board, from where the examination centers will be continuously monitored. The live feed of the CCTV installed at the examination centers will also be directly available to the control room, through which the identity of the candidates and their behavior while giving the examination can also be seen.
