UP farmer son tops UPSC exam share his success mantra – UP farmer’s son tops UPSC exam, Education News

Nikhil Singh, son of farmer Satyaprakash Singh alias Sattu of Suruwarpatti village of Sikrara in Jaunpur district of UP, has topped the Indian Economic and Statistical Service Examination (ISS). After the examination results were declared by the Union Public Service Commission on Wednesday, there was a wave of happiness among his family members and villagers here. He got this success in the third attempt.

After primary education in RN Public School located in neighboring village Badhauna (Fatehganj), he studied high school and intermediate from Nehru Balodyan. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UP College in Varanasi. While talking to ‘Hindustan’, he told that mathematics and statistics were his subjects in graduation. He obtained a master’s degree in statistics. In Lucknow he prepared for ISS for two years. During this period, he also appeared in the examination twice but did not get success.
Nikhil told that he worked tirelessly for eight-ten hours regularly while correcting his past mistakes.

He got success in ISS exam in the third attempt. Told that his mother is a loving housewife. Elder brother Naveen works in a private company in Delhi. Uncle Rajesh Kumar Singh is posted as Kanungo. Younger uncles Rakesh Singh and Sarvesh Singh are teachers.
