Monday is an important day from the point of view of UP Board exams. Examination of important subjects of high school and intermediate will be held in both the shifts in all 8272 centers of the state. In the first shift, 28,27,074 candidates are registered in High School English and in the second shift, 15,87,686 candidates are registered in Intermediate Physics. In the first shift itself, 47981 candidates will appear in the examination of Inter Vocational and Agriculture category, while in the second shift, there is examination of High School Safety subject. In the second shift itself, 20378, 156401 and 1619 candidates are registered in the examination of Inter Psychology, Pedagogy and Logic respectively.

Throughout the day on Sunday, UP Board officials kept working on a new strategy to ensure successful conduct of Monday’s examination. Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla held a Google Meet from the board headquarters and gave instructions to the education officers of the districts. It has been made clear that if any kind of negligence or irregularity is found at the examination centres, those responsible will not be spared. First of all, action will be taken against the center administrator. The static magistrate has been warned. In the centres, only center administrators and static magistrates will be able to use mobile phones when needed. After the Agra incident, UP Board has increased the strictness during the examination.

Center administrator and room inspector removed
During the second shift Inter English examination on Saturday, suspicious activity was seen from the command room of the board headquarters to the examination center Pandit Ram Kailash Tripathi Inter College Sirauthi Dohatha Manda in Yamunapar. On receiving the information, Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla directed to remove the center administrator and the concerned room inspector. The Board Secretary said that during the examination, all the invigilators, mobile squads and zonal magistrates will remain in the field. There will be intensive checking of examination centres. QRT is also keeping an eye on social media. Separate experts have been engaged for this work.
