UGC NET June 2024: National Testing Agency (NTA) is preparing to conduct the University Grants Commission, National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) Session I examination in June. As per the NTA exam calendar for the academic year 2024-25, the NET exam is likely to be held between June 10 and June 21. Candidates who want to appear in the UGC NET exam should know when the application process for the exam will start.

According to media reports, the registration window for UGC NET June 2024 session is expected to open by April. The date to apply will be released soon. When the application process is over. The examination is Computer Based Test (CBT) mode in 83 subjects.

Who can apply

Candidates who have completed Master’s degree in any subject with minimum 55 percent marks from any recognized institute can apply. Let us tell you, reserved category candidates of OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Transgender should have a Master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks.

age limit

The upper age limit prescribed by the UGC for candidates applying for JRF is 20 years, while there is no age limit for candidates applying for Assistant Professor. Apart from this, age relaxation is also given to NTA OBC, ST/SC, Transgender and women reserved category candidates. After the release of the exam notification, the candidates appearing in the exam will be able to know the information related to age limit.

application fees

According to the official website, the application fee for general category candidates is Rs 1,100, while for OBC category candidates it is Rs 600. Whereas, for reserved category candidates like SC/ST/PWD, the application fee is Rs 275.

After the release of the notification of UGC NET June exam, candidates will be able to apply through the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Documents, signature, photo will have to be uploaded along with the educational and personal details asked in the form.
