CUET UG 2024 Exam: The application process for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate i.e. CUET UG 2024 is going on. The last date to fill the form is 26 March 2024 till 11:50 pm. Whereas National Testing Agency (NTA) had already told that CUET UG exam will be conducted from 15 to 31 May and the results will be declared on 30 June. However, these dates are temporary.

According to UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar, the schedule of Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG can be changed depending on the schedule of Lok Sabha elections. Let us tell you, elections for the 18th Lok Sabha are about to begin in India and the schedule of which is likely to be announced this month. NTA will finalize the dates of CUET UG 2024 after the election dates are announced.

This year the format of the examination has been changed. From this year NTA will conduct CUET UG in hybrid mode. This means that for subjects with high number of registrations in the CUET UG application form, the examination will be conducted in pen and paper mode using Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) format, and for other subjects the examination will remain computer based. . Along with this, whereas earlier students could choose 10 subjects for CUET UG, now the number of 10 subjects has been reduced to 6.

Know- Why is CUET UG exam conducted?

Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to graduate courses. Through this examination, more than 250 universities including central, state, deemed, private and other universities provide admission in UG courses on the basis of CUET marks. Let us tell you, last year, CUET(UG) – 2023 Computer Based Test (CBT) mode was conducted for about 14,99,790 students.
