Candidates preparing for SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2024 should speed up their preparations now, actually the exam date is near. The examination will be conducted next month on 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28, 29 February and 1, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 March, 2024. The candidates who had applied are now waiting for its admit card. Let us tell you that the admit cards of this examination will be issued in this week of January or the first week of February. After the release of admit cards, candidates will be able to download them by visiting the official website ssc.nic.in. About 47 lakh candidates are waiting for the admit card. 47 lakh candidates have applied for this recruitment. Let us tell you that this is the first time after the last three years, when there has been a decrease in the number of candidates applying for SSC GD Constable recruitment. 5415938 candidates had applied in the year 2022 and 7174580 candidates had applied in the year 2021. This time the number of posts has also been reduced to half as compared to the year 2022. In the year 2022, recruitment was done for 50,187 posts, whereas this time the recruitment process is going on for only 26000 posts. Whereas in the year 2021 there were only 25271 posts.

Let us tell you that through this recruitment, 26146 vacant posts of GD Constable in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB and Rifleman in Assam Rifles will be filled. The selected ones will get the pay scale of Level-3 – (Rs 21,700-69,100)

There are 6174 posts of BSF, 11025 of CISF, 3337 of CRPF, 635 of SSB, 3189 of ITBP, 1490 of Assam Rifles, 296 of SSF. There are a total of 23347 posts for men and a total of 2799 for women. 9626 posts among men and 1183 posts among women are unreserved. Among men, 3334 posts are reserved for SC, 2354 ST, 4776 OBC, 3257 posts are reserved for EWS category. While among women, 408 posts are reserved for SC, 248 posts for ST, 584 OBC, 376 for EWS.
