The period of waiting for many years to get a railway job is now over. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has decided to recruit on vacant posts every year in Indian Railways. For this, the annual calendar of Railways has been issued. According to the month of the year in the calendar, candidates will already know the information about recruitment notification, examination, training and appointment to vacant posts in various categories. Railway Board has issued instructions regarding centralized employment notification for all Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on February 2. In this, every year between January-March, RRB will issue notification regarding recruitment to the vacant posts of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP).
There is a plan to recruit on technician posts and there is a plan to recruit on technician posts between April-June. The process of recruitment for non-technical popular categories (NTPC) posts, graduate and 12th pass, junior engineer and paramedical posts will start from July to September. Whereas in October-December, notification will be issued for Level-1 i.e. Gagman, Pointman, Assistant posts.
Notification will be issued four times a year
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that there was a need for an annual calendar for job recruitment in the Railways. This will help those youth who want to participate in the railway examination. The minister said, job notifications will now be released four times a year. This will give candidates time to prepare and will not have to wait indefinitely.

Due to lack of uniformity it was taking time
According to the information, before this, recruitment has been done on vacant posts in various categories by the Regional RRB Zonal Railways. Due to lack of uniformity in this, recruitment on vacant posts took place after many years. Due to the long time taken in the process, there is a hindrance in the appointment due to the old age of the successful candidate. The Central Government has recruited approximately five lakh employees in the Indian Railways in the last 10 years.
