RRB ALP Vacancy 2024: There is news of relief for the candidates who are agitating regarding railway recruitment in Bihar. However, the candidates are adamant on the demand for increase in seats. Railway Ministry has announced relaxation in the age limit of Railway ALP Recruitment. Railways has issued a notice in this regard saying that candidates between the age of 18 to 33 years can now apply. On behalf of the Railway Ministry, it has been said that it has been decided to give relaxation of 3 years in the age limit to the candidates who are overage and could not get the opportunity of this recruitment due to the Corona epidemic. Age will be calculated from 1st July 2024. Candidates of new age limit will now be able to apply online for this recruitment from 31 January 2024.
Earlier, Railway officials had announced that candidates will now get a chance for ALP recruitment every year. Another advantage will be that the candidates who pass the examination will be appointed immediately and they will not have to wait long.
Application process going on for 5696 posts:
Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) had invited applications for recruitment to 5696 posts of Assistant Loco Pilot from January 20, 2024. The last date of application for this recruitment of Railways is 19 February 2024. Before this recruitment, Railway Recruitment Board had recruited 64371 posts of ALP and Technician in the year 2018. This recruitment will be for various trades of ITI.
Application Qualification: 10th pass and ITI or 10th and three years engineering diploma in related trade will be acceptable.
Age Limit – 18-30 years. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation as per rules.
Selection Process of Railway ALB Recruitment:
The selection process is likely to be completed in four phases. These stages are – 1. First Stage CBT (Computer Based Test), 2. Second Stage CBT, 3. Computer Based Aptitude Test and 4. Document Verification.
Application fee – Rs 500. Rs 400 will be refunded to those who appear in the CBT 1 exam. SC, ST, Women, EBC, Disabled – Rs 250. The entire amount of Rs 250 will be refunded to those who will appear in CBT 1 exam.
Annual recruitment started in Railways: Vaishnav
Recently, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav had said that Railways is planning to create more employment opportunities. The employment process for 1.5 lakh posts has been completed. He said that an annual recruitment process has been started so that maximum people can get opportunities. Vaishnav said that we recently completed the employment process for 1.5 lakh employees and immediately after that we started the new process with the selection of Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP). The Union Minister said that there will be more employment opportunities in Group ‘D’ in technical and non-technical categories.
