New vacancies of RRB Level-1 (Group D) and NTPC (Non Technical Popular Category) will be released this year. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has given this information. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that now railway recruitment will come out every year. This will be annual. Recruitment of Assistant Loco Pilot will be held in January, Technician recruitment in April, NTPC recruitment in June and Level-1 recruitment in October. This time the recruitment of technicians will be done in February so that the election code of conduct is not imposed in April.
Addressing a press conference on the historic announcements made in the interim budget for the transformation of Railways, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, ‘Just now the process of providing employment to 1.54 lakh people in Railways has been completed. Orders for his appointment have been received. These people have been registered. Now these people started going for training. As soon as this process is completed, the process of next new recruitment has started.
On the issue of the number of vacancies being less as compared to the previous recruitment (year 2018), he said, ‘For a long time there was a demand by the candidates that Railway recruitment should be made annual because if the recruitment comes in four-five years then Many candidates are out of age. Their age exceeds the prescribed age limit for recruitment. Therefore, now Railway Recruitment is moving towards the annual system. These recruitments will take place in January, April, June and October. Four big chunks of recruitment will be ALP, Technical, NTPC and Level-1 during this period. There will be vacancies for ALP in January, Technician in April, NTPC in June and Level-1 in October. And thus this recruitment process continues every year. The vacancies that have been created now are more than required. More people have been notified than the number of ALP retirees.
The Railway Minister said, ‘Right now 1.5 lakh people have been given jobs in the Railways. The examination was conducted in 15 languages in more than a thousand shifts in more than 500 cities. More than one crore applications were received. There were no complaints from anywhere. No paper was leaked. Recruitment was done with complete transparency. Even a Congress MP asked how such a big exam was conducted without any paper leak. ,
