The minister said, job notifications will now be released four times a year. This will give candidates time to prepare and will not have to wait indefinitely.

Due to lack of uniformity it was taking time
According to the information, before this, recruitment has been done on vacant posts in various categories by the Regional RRB Zonal Railways. Due to lack of uniformity in this, recruitment on vacant posts took place after many years. Due to the long time taken in the process, there is a hindrance in the appointment due to the old age of the successful candidate. The Central Government has recruited approximately five lakh employees in the Indian Railways in the last 10 years.
