The court has canceled the order of the Additional Director of Education and the District Education Officer regarding rejection of the leave application of a teacher working in the Education Department to do PhD.

A single bench of Justice Pankaj Purohit gave this decision on the petition of Shobha Budhlakoti, a teacher working on the post of Assistant Teacher LT (Hindi). Is. This teacher was earlier issued a no objection certificate from the Education Department for taking admission in PhD. When he applied for study leave, the department rejected it on the grounds that such leave could be given for science subjects and technical studies.

Petitioner Shobha Budhlakoti told the court that she is an assistant teacher. He has taken admission in PhD course in Hindi by taking NOC from the department. Leave is required to pursue a PhD course.
