Admission to PhD will be done in Allahabad University and Colleges under the Joint Research Entrance Examination (CRATE 2023). This time the number of applications has increased compared to last time. Director of Admission Cell Prof. According to the data released by JK Pati, till Monday morning, 8522 candidates have registered online for different courses. Out of these, 6685 candidates have paid the fees and finally submitted the form. The number of applicants has increased due to extension of the last date. The last date of application has been extended till 24 November. For CRATE 2023, applications have been invited for 1170 seats in 51 subjects. 733 seats have been fixed in universities and 437 seats in colleges.
Two day seminar organized in IVV from tomorrow
Meghnath Shah Memorial International Seminar Frontiers of Physics will be inaugurated on 22nd November in the Department of Physics, Allahabad University. Chief guest was Prof. of Washington University. Will be Lauridi McClaren. Saraswat Guest Prof. Ajay Ghatak, Prof. Rajeev Gavai and Prof. Will be AK Tyagi. Presided over by Vice Chancellor Prof. Sangeeta Srivastava will do it. Students of inter colleges have also been invited to the programme.
State University’s back exam on 25th and 26th
Pro. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University has released the schedule of back paper examination of annual system students under the new education policy. These examinations are proposed between 25th and 26th November between 9 to 11 am and 12 to 2 pm. The state university has issued the necessary guidelines on Monday.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that under the annual system of NEP at the graduation level in the session 2021-22, the back paper examinations of the students of BA, B.Sc and B.Com courses will be held at the aided college examination centers of all the districts. The admit cards of the students have been released on the college login of the college and the university website. All the candidates of Prayagraj will appear for the exam in Kulbhaskar Ashram PG College.
Practical examination in PRSU starts from 16th November. The state university has issued notices to colleges that have not submitted the list of examiners. The university administration has asked the reason for not giving the list of examiners. Also, there are many colleges which have conducted the examination but have not sent the names of the examiners. The university has not accepted the practical examination marks of such colleges.
