Bhavya Tiwari from Noida has topped the entire UP in the engineering entrance exam JEE Main. Bhavya, a Class 12 student of Apeejay School, Noida, scored 99.9966033 percentile in the NTA JEE Main Session 1 exam. After years of hard work, Bhavya was expecting good results. After the brilliant performance, he said, ‘Obviously I am happy that I have topped in the state, but I am a little disappointed at not being able to achieve a perfect 100 percentile. Narrowly missed. Scored perfect 100 percentile in Physics and Chemistry. I scored 99.99 marks in Maths and hence missed getting 100 percentile overall.
17-year-old Bhavya had dreamed of cracking IIT JEE when he was in class 9th. He said, ‘It was always my dream to take admission in IIT Mumbai and make a career in Computer Science Engineering. Glad I got over the first hurdle. Now I am completely concentrating on CBSE Class 12 exams which is starting from 22nd February. I can say with full confidence that 12th board exam preparation and JEE Main preparation can easily go together. NCERT books cover both the patterns well. No one distracts. If a student prepares with full focus then he can pass the boards and JEE Main Plus Advanced together.
Bhavya believes that it is important to first make up your mind and then work towards a goal. He said, ‘The school teachers cooperated fully in the preparation. The practical knowledge gained from school was very beneficial. Unlike other schools in Delhi NCR, practicals were conducted regularly every week and teachers gave time to correct the mistakes made by the students. This helped a lot. Bhavya likes to play lawn tennis and cricket. His favorite cricketers are Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. He lives in Noida with his parents and a younger brother. He likes mathematics and has a keen interest in science. His mother Bimla Tiwari is a housewife and father Ashok Tiwari is a businessman.

When asked if he would also appear for the JEE Main Session 2 exam, Bhavya says that he would definitely like to appear for the exam to keep himself prepared for Advanced, which is quite tough. He said, these exams help in assessing where one stands and rectify the shortcomings if any.
Bhavya has achieved many achievements even before JEE Main. He was a merit holder in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2021. He also participated in the Mathematical Orientation Camp (MOOC) organized online by HBCSE in May 2021, for which he received a certificate of participation.
Of the 11,70,048 candidates who appeared for the JEE Main 2024-Session 1 exam, 23 scored a perfect 100 NTA score.
