Online correction in the application form of medical entrance examination NEET UG will start from March 18. Students can make corrections till March 20. NTA has released the notification on its website. Candidates can view their application form by visiting the website and entering the unique registration number and password. If there is any mistake then it can be corrected. Candidates can make corrections in the details of father and mother name, category, sub-category, examination city and medium, qualification and year of passing of class 10 and 12. During the form correction window, no changes are allowed in the details of mobile number, address and email address in the NEET form. If your uploaded categories and sub categories and other documents are not correct, you can upload new documents during the correction window

NTA has said that no opportunity will be given for correction in the application form after March 20. The window to apply for NEET is still open. Last date of application is 16 March 2024. The number of applications has crossed a record 25 lakh.

NEET exam will be conducted on 5th May 2024 while the result will be announced on 14th June 2024. Through NEET, admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and various other undergraduate medical courses is done in all the medical colleges of the country. Apart from this, candidates for Military Nursing Service (MNS) will also be able to take admission in B.Sc Nursing course of Armed Forces Medical Service Hospital through the marks of NEET UG exam.

There are currently only 108940 MBBS seats in the country for record-breaking NEET candidates. Tamil Nadu has the maximum number of 74 medical colleges. However, Karnataka has the highest number of MBBS seats at 11745.
