NEET 2024 Registration: National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to start the registration process for the medical entrance examination NEET (NEET UG 2024) very soon. It is being told that the application process for NEET UG can start in a few days. As soon as the NEET notification is released, candidates seeking admission in medical and dental colleges will be able to apply by visiting the official website neet.nta.nic.in. NEET exam will be conducted on 5th May. Through NEET, admission is done in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS and various other undergraduate medical courses in all the medical colleges of the country. To apply, students need passport size photo, postcard size photo, signature, left hand thumb impression, class 10th certificate, category certificate, disability certificate, citizenship certificate.
Total number of MBBS seats
There are currently 108940 MBBS seats in the country. Tamil Nadu has the maximum number of 74 medical colleges. However, Karnataka has the highest number of MBBS seats at 11745.
These documents will be needed
– Passport size photo – latest photo. Have white background. The face should occupy 80 percent of the photo.
– Postcard size photo – The date on which the photo was taken should be on the photo. There should be a name as well. Not wearing glasses and hat. The face should occupy 80 percent of the photo.
Signature should be on white background. The signature should be in black pen. The sign should not be in capital letters.
– Left hand thumb impression – in blue ink on white paper.
– 10th certificate
– SC, ST, EWS, OBC Certificate
Mobile number and email ID must be active and correct.
At the time of application, students will have to fill their mobile number and email ID. It is very important for it to be correct and always active. OTP will come on these only. The counseling process will also run through this mobile number.
In many places, NEET score will also be used to shortlist candidates for admission to B.Sc Nursing course. NEET score will be used for shortlisting for selection into four-year B.Sc Nursing course.
