On Thursday, nearly three lakh candidates left the UP Board examination. In the first shift, there was the examination of social science and intermediate vocational category in high school. 29,59,023 candidates were registered in the first shift. Of these, 1,77,521 candidates remained absent. Similarly, in the second shift, high school sewing and intermediate chemistry and sociology examinations were held. 20,18,283 candidates were to appear in this examination. But 1,00,122 remained absent. Thus, 2,77,643 candidates did not appear in both the shifts. Board Secretary Dibyakant Shukla said that a girl was caught cheating during the examination.

More than two lakh candidates will take the exam tomorrow

More than two lakh candidates will appear in the examination on March 9. With this the board exams will end. On Saturday, in the first shift high school, the examination of subjects like Gujarati, Urdu, Punjabi etc. will be held at 3409 centers and the examination of intermediate vocational subjects will be held at 1091 examination centres. Of these, a total of 95983 candidates are registered, including 63508 in high school and 32,475 in intermediate. In the second shift, the examination of Electrician, Disaster, Management, Solar System, Repair and Plumber subjects will be held at one center and the examination of Intermediate subjects of Sanskrit and Agriculture section will be held at 5613 centres. A total of 1,27,978 candidates, including 12,7941 candidates in High School and 37 Intermediate, are registered. Both shifts 2,23,924 are registered.
