The third shift examination of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competition (JSSC CGL) organized by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) on January 28 has been cancelled. Late on Sunday night, the Commission issued a notification canceling the examination. The next date of examination will be released soon. Earlier, after the complaint of paper leak, candidates created ruckus and demonstrated in many districts including Ranchi. Candidates allege that General Knowledge/General Studies questions have been leaked. The paper was leaked just three hours before the exam. About 70 questions and their answers were written on the paper. When the questions were matched with the form, 70 to 80 answers were found correct.

A JSSC official said that a complaint of paper leak has been received. Its authenticity will be investigated. If found true, FIR will be lodged.

More than 50 questions were found exactly in the leaked paper
The Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination (JSSC CGL-2023), conducted by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) after a gap of 10 years, immediately came into controversy after it was concluded on Sunday. This examination was taken on Sunday in the examination centers of all the districts of the state including the capital Ranchi.

After the examination, complaints of paper leak started coming from many districts including Ranchi. Especially the candidates complained about the leaking of three questions of the paper. Regarding this, the candidates also demonstrated late in the evening outside the State Library located on the Main Road of Ranchi. Demonstrations were also held in other districts.

The candidates said that the questions of General Knowledge/General Studies in the third session have been leaked, due to which their future is in danger. The students raised slogans against JSSC and said that it has always been the destiny of Jharkhand to have disturbances before the examinations.

Candidates raised many questions
Candidates said that 150 questions were asked in Paper 3, in which 40 questions were asked from Jharkhand, 20 from Mathematics, 20 from Reasoning, 30 from GK/GS, 20 from Science and 20 from Computer. In the General Study paper that was leaked, more than 50 percent of the questions and their answers including all the sections had already been leaked.

Candidates demanded a high level investigation. While protesting and raising slogans in front of the State Library, the candidates have demanded the government to form a high level committee and investigate this matter. He said that when handwritten questions and answers were received, we thought it was wrong, but later when it was compared with the exam questions, it was correct to a great extent. There has been complete irregularities in the examination and it should be investigated. The candidates were also demanding postponement of the examination to be held on February 4.
