JSSC CGL: Jharkhand General Graduate Qualifying Combined Competitive Examination is going to be held from tomorrow in various cities of the state. After tomorrow it will be organized on 4th February. Before the commencement of the examination, Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission has amended the address of an exam center of CGL. The Commission has already clarified the address of the examination centre. JSSC has issued a notice saying that the address of St. Mary’s English High School (Venue Code 352), an examination center in East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur) district, is printed as Sakchi Jamshedpur in the admit card for appearing in the examination. The detailed address of the center for the candidates of this center is as follows – St. Mary’s English High School (Venue Code 352), Kharkai Link Road, Bistupur, Jamshedpur – 831001.

JSSC has issued exam guidelines for CGL candidates. For 2025 posts, 6.50 lakh candidates will appear for the examination in 24 district headquarters and some divisions of the state. The Commission has never conducted such a large scale examination. The Commission has said that strict legal action will be taken against those involved in copying and fraud. Those who lie and mislead will also be punished. It is prohibited to bring mobile phone, Bluetooth, watch, calculator, pager, chip, any device that affects the computer in the examination. If found involved in copying, there will be a jail term of three years. There will also be a fine of at least Rs 5 lakh. The accused and guilty student will also be banned from appearing for exams for five to 10 years.

One mark will be deducted for wrong answer
Duration of each paper will be 2 hours. The main examination will be conducted on OMR sheet. There will be objective and multiple choice questions. Three marks will be given for the correct answer to each question, while one mark will be deducted for the wrong answer.

Paper-1, Language Knowledge – Total Questions – 120, Exam Duration – 2 Hours
– Hindi language knowledge – 60 questions
– English Language Knowledge – 60 questions

Paper-2 Identified Tribal and Regional Languages, Total Questions – 100, 2 hours.

Paper-3 General Knowledge, Total Questions 150, Exam Duration – 2 Hours. It is mandatory to score at least 30 percent marks in this.
