JPSC Prelims paper leak students protest claiming question paper sold outside center in Jamtara video surfaces – Uproar over JPSC paper leak, candidates claim

JPSC Paperleak: In the first shift examination of Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Competitive Examination 2023 (11th JPSC), students created a ruckus at two centers of Jamtara, two centers of Dhanbad and one center of Chatra.

Students protested in the first shift at the examination center located at Tribal Degree College and Inter College of Mihijam in Jamtara, alleging that the paper was leaked. Due to this, the examination started there late by about half an hour. 364 candidates were appearing for the examination at these two centres.

Students boycotted in Dhanbad

In Dhanbad too, students at the examination center set up in Delhi Public School (DPS) boycotted the examination alleging that it was giving arbitrary benefits to some particular candidates. At the same time, students who had come to take the examination in Government High School, Putki, created a ruckus over not tallying the marks in the answer sheet. Candidates also accused of not opening the question paper in front.

Uproar in Chatra

Candidates also created ruckus in Chatra’s Upendranath Verma Inter College by alleging paper leak. His allegation was that the bundle of papers was opened only after taking two-four students into confidence.

Different videos of malpractice in examination at Jamtara examination center are going viral on social media. Hindustan does not confirm the authenticity of this video. Jamtara DC Kumud Sahay said that SIT has been formed to investigate.

Secretary will take action on the report of Deputy Commissioner

On the allegation of paper leak in Jharkhand Combined Civil Services Preliminary Competitive Examination, JPSC Secretary Akshay Kumar Singh said that the examination was peaceful except in a few centers in the state. Reports have been sought from the Deputy Commissioners of all the districts including the DC of some centers where candidates have alleged paper leakage. Videography is also done during the examination. DC’s report and videography will be investigated. Then action will be taken.

JSSC CGL paper was also leaked

Earlier in January, the paper of Jharkhand General Graduate Qualified Combined Competitive Examination (JSSC CGL) conducted by Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission was also leaked. The candidates created a ruckus regarding this also. The Commission had canceled the examination. After this the Chairman of the Commission resigned from his post.
