UPJEE UP Polytechnic entrance exam dates: Uttar Pradesh Council of Technical Education has extended the last date of application for JEECUP, the entrance examination for admission in polytechnic institutes of UP. Now applications for this can be made till March 4, 2024. Earlier the last date was 29th February. All the interested candidates who have not yet registered should immediately visit the official website jeecup.admissions.nic.in and apply for the UP Polytechnic Entrance Examination. It has been said in the notice that after this the last date will not be extended. It has also been said in the notice that students who have applied can make corrections in their application form till March 4.

Let us tell you that every year JEECUP entrance examination is conducted for admission to diploma courses in UP Polytechnic Institutes. This time JEECUP exam will be conducted from 16 to 22 March. Its admit card will be released on 10 March 2024. You will be able to download the admit card of Polytechnic Entrance Exam after entering the Aadhaar number.

As per the exam schedule, the answer key will be released on March 27. At the same time, the window for raising objections will close on March 30. UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam Result will be released on 8th April.

new rule
Those who get zero marks in the polytechnic entrance examination will not get admission. In Uttar Pradesh, there are about 1400 polytechnics run in government, subsidized, private and PPP model, in which admission is taken for 2 lakh 28 seats. Till now, every candidate who appeared in the entrance examination used to get admission, but by making changes in the admission process for the new session 2024-25, steps have been taken to improve polytechnic education. Under which, if any student participates in the admission process and gets zero marks then that student will not be eligible for admission.

There will be 100 questions in the entrance exam question paper.
The entrance exam question paper will have 100 multiple choice questions. There will be no negative marking in the entrance exam. Each correct answer will get four marks.

Main counseling will be conducted in three phases and special counseling will be conducted from the fourth phase.
