JEE Mains session 2 city intimation: City intimation slip of JEE Mains exam session-2 has been released. Candidates of Paper-1 and Paper-2 can check in which city and on which date their exam is by visiting NTA JEE Main official website jeemain.nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to check the details of exam city with the help of their application number and password. Candidates should check the details given in their intimation slip carefully. Admit card (JEE Main Admit Card) will also be issued in a few days. JEE Main Session-2 examination will be held from April 4, 2024 to April 15, 2024. The answer key of JEE Main Session-2 will come in the third week of April. Whereas the result of JEE Main Session-2 will come on 25th April.

Let us tell you that there are two papers in JEE Main. Paper-1 gives admission to BE/B.Tech. Paper-1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering courses (BE/B.Tech.) in NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and other participating State Government funded/recognized institutions/universities. JEE Main exam is also a qualifying exam for JEE Advanced which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper-2 is conducted for admission to B.Arch and B. Planning courses in the country. No candidate is bound to appear in both the sessions of JEE Main Examination 2024. Those who will appear for both the sessions, their best score will be considered.

Earlier, record attendance was recorded in Session-1 of the engineering entrance examination JEE Main 2024. According to NTA, this time there was 95.8 percent attendance in JEE Main Paper-1 (B.Tech, BE). Whereas in Paper-2 (B.Arch and B.Planning) 75 percent candidates had given the exam. Ever since NTA started conducting JEE Main, there has never been such a high attendance. A record 12,31,874 students had registered for JEE Main Session-1, which was the highest since 2019.

After the completion of JEE Main Session-2 examinations, the rank of students will be released on the basis of best NTA score of both the sessions. Candidates securing first 2,50,000 ranks in JEE Main result will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced test. Admission to IIT is done through JEE Advanced.
