Today we are going to tell you about IAS Gahana Navya James, who has secured sixth rank in UPSC CSE. Let us know about them.

Navya James, a native of Kerala state Gehna, had cleared the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2022 and secured 6th rank in the merit list. He was born in 1998 in Kottayam district of Kerala state. Gahana Ann James’s father’s name is Chirakkal James, he is a retired college professor. His mother’s name is Deepa George, she is a housewife. Gahana Navya James’s uncle Sibi George is a 1993 batch Indian Foreign Service officer, and is currently India’s Ambassador to Japan. He got the inspiration to take UPSC exam from his uncle.

He had his primary education in his hometown Kottayam. After this, he completed class 10th from public school and class 12th from St. Mary’s School. For his graduation degree, he chose Alphonsa College, from where he took graduation degree in History, then took Masters of Arts degree in Political Science. After this he cleared the UGC NET/JRF exam.

Gehana Navya James wanted to become an IFS like her uncle. Please tell me. UPSC’s Detailed Application Form (DAF) His first choice was IFS. However, after the result was declared, he left the post of IAS and chose IFS.
