UPSC IAS Exam: Lakhs of candidates are busy preparing for UPSC Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024. Meanwhile, to boost the morale of the candidates, IAS officer Sonal Goyal has shared the photo of her marksheet of UPSC main examination. While sharing the photo, she has written about her old memories that when she looks at the marksheet of the main examination of 2007, she experiences a nostalgic moment. This mark sheet reminds him of the trials and triumphs which led to his final selection in May 2008.

At a time when candidates are appearing for their first attempt, some may be attempting their second or third attempt. Students are worried about the exam pattern and the chances of cracking the exam. This post of IAS officer Sonal Goyal has attracted people’s attention.

Sonal told how she was not called for interview due to low marks in the main examination of the first attempt. His marks in General Studies of Main Examination were quite low. But this did not dishearten her, rather she started trying to achieve her goal with strong willpower. He told how he gained proficiency in General Studies paper and improved in General Studies paper by making notes and practicing answer writing along with revision.

IAS Sonal Goyal told how along with preparing for UPSC, she was doing LLB from Delhi University and apart from this she was also doing part time job of Company Secretary (CS). In the end, her strong will and hard work paid off as she not only succeeded in the examination but also got the highest marks in the subject she focused on.

Along with the highly motivating post for UPSC aspirants, he also reminded the candidates that no one can stop dedication and continuous efforts from achieving success. He further said that every failure and defeat provides an opportunity to learn. If we learn and move forward, victory is certain.
