In Bharatpur, Rajasthan, when a father, fulfilling his dream, sent off his IAS daughter with his IPS son-in-law in a helicopter, a crowd of people gathered at the college ground helipad to see it. Dr. Amar Singh, a resident of Dhauramui and running a private nursing home with his wife Dr. Neetan Singh in the city, had a dream that when his daughter Aparajita gets selected in the IAS service, he would see her off in a helicopter. According to news agency Varta, the doctor couple fulfilled their dream after completing the marriage ceremony at a private hotel in the city on Wednesday night.
IAS Aparajita is married to Devendra Kumar, who hails from Khasauli village in Churu district of Rajasthan. Devendra Kumar became IPS by getting selected in UPSC Civil Services Examination 2020, who is currently posted as Under Trainee IPS in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. Devendra got 390th rank in UPSC Civil Services Examination. He had 744 marks in Mains and 190 marks in Interview (total score 934). IPS officer Devendra of 2021 batch has done B.Tech.
Dr. Aparajita passed NEET examination in the year 2011 and completed MBBS from PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana in the year 2017, but Aparajita wanted to become an IAS. Therefore, she prepared for the Civil Services Exam and in the year 2019 she became an IAS officer. Aparajita had secured 82nd rank in the UPSC Civil Services Examination. He had 823 marks in Mains and 201 marks in Interview (total score 1024). Aparajita had passed this exam in the second attempt. Aparajita Singh Sinsiwar, a 2019 batch IAS officer, is the Joint Collector of Krishna district in Andhra Pradesh.

Have already done court marriage
However, IAS Aparajita Singh and IPS Devendra Kumar had a court marriage in the month of August last year. The video and photos of this marriage, which took place with utmost simplicity without any huge expense, went quite viral on social media. Both of them got married by garlanding each other in the office of DM P Rajababu of Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh.
