Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar on Friday said that in the next few months, employment opportunities will be provided to 60,000 youth whose annual family income is less than Rs 1.80 lakh. The Chief Minister made this announcement while addressing the state level ‘Vivekananda Yuva Mahasammelan’ on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. Khattar said that under the framework of ‘Mission 60,000’, the government will hire 7500 ‘Vanmitras’, recruit 15000 contractual employees under Haryana Skill Employment Corporation and 7500 ‘e-Seva Mitras’ for ‘Common Services Centre’. Will appoint. 10,000 workers will be hired for the factories.

He said that apart from this, 15,000 youth with diploma or degree in civil engineering will be trained so that they can become contractors.

The Chief Minister said, “The government will give a loan of Rs 3 lakh to these people for one year without any guarantee.” Youth trained under this program will be exempted from giving guarantee for work up to Rs 25 lakh. The objective is to increase their annual income and enable them to bring them above the poverty line.

Paying tribute to Swami Vivekananda, the Chief Minister said that his life is a source of inspiration for all. He said, “In 1893, he presented India’s perspective at the Parliament of the World’s Religions in Chicago and his vivid representation brought great respect and a great recognition to our nation.”
