Let us tell you that the Chief Minister’s direction to the Home Department came in view of the demands of the youth and public representatives, who had cited the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the career prospects of the youth in the state. Due to no recruitment due to Covid disease, many candidates had become overage. Now, by increasing the age limit by three years, many candidates will become eligible to apply.

What will happen if you get equal marks?
If two or more candidates have equal marks, preference will be given to those candidates who have NCC B Certificate or DOEC O Level or two years experience in Territorial Army. If there is nothing in it then those who are older will be placed higher in merit.
