Lucknow STF took a major action in Aligarh and arrested the solver gang who broke into the National Eligibility Test (NET). The gang members used to copy by sharing the computer screen. The arrested members also include a constable of 15th Corps PAC Agra, resident of Aligarh. Apart from this, one member is from Mathura district. The gang leader is absconding. For the past several days, UP STF has been receiving information about incidents of exam tampering being carried out by gangs active in various districts of Western Uttar Pradesh.

In this regard, action was being taken by STF Field Unit, Agra under the leadership of Additional Superintendent of Police, STF Agra and Uday Pratap Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police. The team received information that in Santasar Public School, Bhokri Khas GT Road, Thana Gabhana, Aligarh, a candidate named Preeti was being cheated in the National Eligibility Test (NET) examination through screen sharing.

On information, a team of STF Agra reached Santsar Public School. Observer of the examination center Prof. Rihan A. Information about the candidate’s roll number and name was obtained from Khan. Then it came to light that the said candidate was sitting at a place other than the one allotted in her own name. On this, Preeti told that her Jeetu alias Jitend Sinsinwar alias Lalit Sinsinwar, Krishna Kumar and Samay Singh are present on duty in this lab. They have installed it on this system. STF arrested all three persons. Police station Gabhana Section 3/9/7/10 Public Examination Act against the arrested accused and others. A case under Section 66C IT Act 1988 has been registered. Gang leader accused Lalit Sinsiwar resident Gabhana is absconding.

The arrested accused told the STF officers during interrogation that all four of them and Lalit Sinsinwar used to solve the papers by sharing the screen among themselves. Lalit, who was sharing the screen, had left the examination center shortly before the arrival of the team. Lalit has complete information about this. Whatever money we get for this work.
