In Rajasthan, Cabinet Minister Dr Kirori Lal Meena has requested Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma to postpone the RAS Main Exam to give candidates time to prepare. Dr. Meena said that he met the Chief Minister on Monday and requested him to postpone the RAS main examination. In this regard, the candidates had given him a memorandum in which the candidates are demanding to be given adequate time for preparation, which is logical. He said that the candidates should get at least three months more time for preparation.
He said that on this the Chief Minister assured that there will be no injustice to the candidates. It is noteworthy that Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Competitive (Main) Examination is scheduled on 27th and 28th January.
Meena told that during this time he also demanded from the Chief Minister to get the Rajasthan Eastern Canal Project (ERCP) started soon so that the people of 12 districts can get relief. On this, the Chief Minister assured to form a committee of ministers to solve this problem, which will work on smoothening the path of ERCP by talking to the Central and Madhya Pradesh governments.
