PRSU Exam: Prof. When Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaiya) State University tightened the practical examinations of odd semesters of the academic session 2023-24, one fourth of the students skipped the practical examination. At the same time, five percent students have also failed in the practical examination. Keeping in view the future of the students, the university administration has given them the last chance to appear in the examination again. Such students will be able to apply till January 5.

For transparency in the practical examination, colleges were asked to create YouTube channels compulsorily. Live recording of the practical examination was to be uploaded on this channel. The university administration was also asked to make the entire recording available in a pen drive. Out of 2.5 lakh students of the division (Prayagraj, Pratapgarh, Kaushambi and Fatehpur), 65 thousand have left the practical examination. At the same time, five to ten percent students have also failed. Whereas before this, the number of students failing in the practical examination was negligible. It may be noted that the experimental examinations of odd semesters of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses (except LLB and B.Ed) of the academic session 2023-24 were held between 16 to 25 November. The odd semester examinations were conducted between 28 November and 26 December. Approximately five lakh candidates were registered for these examinations. Out of this, approximately 2.5 lakh students were registered for the practical examination. Out of these, approximately 65 thousand remained absent in the examination, while five to six thousand students have failed in the examination. If sources are to be believed, due to strictness, small colleges have not conducted practical examinations at all.

PRSU Vice Chancellor Prof. Akhilesh Kumar Singh said that strict steps were taken for transparency in the practical examinations of odd semesters. Along with live recording of the examination, changes were also made in the appointment process of internal and external examiners. Due to which around 65 thousand have left the exam and more than 5 thousand have failed.
