Chandigarh Education Department has invited applications for 100 posts of Nursery Teachers (NTT Teachers). For this recruitment, qualification of Nursery Teacher Training Course has been sought. It is not necessary to have CTET certificate. Among the vacancies, 45 posts are unreserved. 27 posts are reserved for OBC, 18 SC, 10 EWS category. The process of online application for this recruitment will start from January 10, 2024. The last date to apply is 5 February 2024. Interested and eligible candidates will be able to apply by visiting the official website chdeducation.gov.in. The last date for depositing fees has been fixed as 8 February 2023.

Ability – 12th pass with at least 50 percent marks. And at least two years Diploma in Nursery Teacher Education / Pre School Education / Early Childhood Education Program or B.Ed Nursery. It is necessary for the institute to be recognized by NCTE.

Age Range – 18 years to 37 years. Relaxation in maximum age limit will be given as per government rules. Age will be calculated from January 1, 2023.

pay scale – Rs 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs 4200 Level-6.

selection – Written exam . There will be no interview.

written exam pattern
There will be a written examination of two and a half hours in which 150 multiple choice questions of 150 marks will be asked. The paper will have 15 questions from General Awareness, 15 from Reasoning Ability and Arithmetic, 30 from Teaching Aptitude, 15 from Information Communication Technology, 10 from Punjabi Language, 10 from Hindi Language Comprehension, 10 from English Language Comprehension, 15 from Maths, 15 from General Science. 15, 15 questions will be asked from Social Science.

The minimum qualifying marks for all candidates will be 40 percent. A quarter mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. If two candidates get equal marks in the written examination, then their merit will be decided on the basis of marks obtained in NTT course.
