JEE Main 2024 Admit Card: Applications for JEE Main Session 1 exam have arrived. The examination will be conducted from 24 January 2024. It is being told that more than 10 lakh students can participate in the first session of JEE Main exam. The students who are going to appear in the examination are eagerly waiting for the admit card. Before the admit card, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will issue the exam city slip for the exam, in which information about their exam city will be given.
Let us tell you, the application process for JEE Main Session 1 started from November 1 and the form was allowed to be filled till November 30. Now the examination will start from 24th January and will continue till 1st February. Those students who are appearing in the examination, read the information related to it.
According to the JEE Main 2024 notification, the exam city slip for the exam will be released in the second week of January. Admit cards of students will also be issued three days before the date of examination i.e. 24th January. That is, admit cards can be issued on 20th and 21st January. After the release of the admit card, candidates will be able to download it by visiting the official websites nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.ac.in. To download the admit card, students have to use their login credentials.
This is how the exam will be conducted
The result for JEE Main Session 1 will be released in February. The examination will be conducted in total 13 languages. Apart from English and Hindi, these languages include 11 regional languages including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.
The examination will be conducted in two shifts. The first exam will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon while the second exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Information about which shift the students will take the exam will be released in the admit card.
JEE Main 2024 will be conducted according to the marking scheme of last year. Each subject – Physics, Chemistry and Maths – will be divided into two sections. Section A will have 30 questions and Section B will have 10 questions. That means the total number of questions in the paper will be 90. However, a candidate has to solve only five questions from Section B (total 15), which means 75 questions have to be solved.
Let us tell you, in JEE Main exam, each question has four answer options, out of which one is correct. Four marks are awarded for a correct answer, but one mark is deducted for a wrong question. If any question is left without answer, no marks will be given on it.
