BSSC CGL: The state government has started preparations for the Bihar Staff Selection Commission Fourth Graduate Level Combined Competitive Examination. The examination will be conducted soon. Chief Secretary Aamir Subhani on Friday held a meeting with Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries, Secretaries and all District Magistrates of all departments through video conferencing. The Chief Secretary has instructed all the departments to send the vacancies of their respective departments. He said that this should be taken seriously.

Actually, the General Administration Department had sought information about graduate level vacant posts from all departments and districts. A letter was also written to the Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Secretaries and District Magistrates of all departments to send requisition for vacancies. But, even after this, many departments have not sent the requisition regarding the vacancies. The government has taken it seriously. Before this, the Chief Secretary also took information from the State Staff Selection Commission about the preparations for the graduate level competitive examination. On the other hand, the General Administration Department and the State Staff Selection Commission have also intensified their preparations for conducting the fourth graduate level combined competitive examination soon.

Number of vacant posts in education department called
Reports of sanctioned posts, working force and vacant posts have been called for in the directorates and regional offices of the Education Department. Besides, information about posting has also been sought. The number of women appointed in the light of 35 percent horizontal reservation provided for women in direct appointment to all types of posts in government services from January 20, 2016 till now, has also been sought. Education Department Secretary Baidyanath Yadav has sent a letter to all directorates and districts regarding this. Similarly, from April 1, 2020 till now, different numbers of men and women employed through regular, contract and outsourcing have also been sought.
