DDU is giving opportunity to NCC girls to become air hostess, 10 female cadets selected – Education News

Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University has taken a big step towards women empowerment. The university is providing an opportunity to its interested NCC cadets to become air hostesses. For this, the nomination process has been completed by selecting 10 women cadets. Preparations are on to give them air hostess training soon. Recently, due to the efforts of NCC Group Commander Brigadier Deependra Rawat, talks were held with Air India to make women cadets air hostesses. After the positive assurance received during the talks, Lieutenant Colonel Raman Tiwari, Commanding Officer of 44 Battalion NCC, has nominated 10 out of 40 female cadets of the university to participate in the training process for air hostesses. The university has taken this initiative in order to provide better employment opportunities to women.

The selected cadet met Captain Prof. Under the leadership of Digvijay Nath Maurya and Lieutenant Dr. Anupam Singh, met the Vice Chancellor and expressed gratitude for giving him this special opportunity. The Vice Chancellor congratulated all the selected cadets for their professional achievements.

Their nomination: Akanksha Singh, Aparajita Yadav, Akanksha Maurya, Priyanshi Shukla, Khushboo Tiwari, Vrinda Pandey, Smriti Singh, Mandira Sharma, Anjali and Aakriti Singh of 44 UP battalion have been nominated.

By imparting air hostess training to girls cadets, they will not only get better employment opportunities but will also strengthen the women empowerment campaign.
