According to NTA and UGC, this year (in the third session) CUET 2024 exam is to be conducted from 15 to 31 May. This time NTA (National Testing Agency) will also reduce the number of subjects to be selected. The number of subject options will be reduced from 10 to six.

Admission will be done on the basis of Combined University Entrance Examination (CUET) in three hundred government and private universities including central universities of the country. Sadhna Parashar, senior officer of NTA (National Testing Agency), said that the application for enrollment in the new session 2024 will start within a week. Preparations are going on for this. For the first time the examination will be held in offline mode. This time, the examination of subjects for which more than 1.50 lakh applications will be received will be held in offline mode. OMR based multiple choice pattern will be adopted in subjects with more than 1.50 lakh applications. Apart from this, the examination will be held in pen-paper mode. With this, all the students of that subject (any one subject) will be able to give the paper in the same shift. Whereas the examination of subjects with applications worth up to Rs 1.50 lakh will be conducted in online mode. The examination of most subjects will be held in a single shift. The process of online application for CUET-UG will start soon. For this examination, some centers including all the states of the country will be created in foreign countries. Centers will be built in all major cities of Bihar.
